Ash Wednesday is February 17, 2010. Our Ash Wednesday Mass schedule is as follows:
- 6:30 a.m.
- 8:30 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m.
Pet Blessing 2009
The Pet Blessing was a great success and we thank all who brought their four-legged, feathered, finned, and slithering family members. This was the first year we attempted to serve food following the pet blessing. We had very talented folks who were able to keep in tow, leashed or cradled pets while balancing a plate of food and a cup of lemonade. Thank you to all who made it possible.

2009/2010 Family Life – Gospel Life • Spiritual Enrichment Opportunities

Family_Spiritual_Formation_Program_2009.pdf We are pleased to announcement our 2009/2010 Family Life – Gospel Life spiritual enrichment opportunities for our faith community. Some wonderful Catholic Christian enrichment programs are scheduled. There are four to ten-week programs available, as well as Saturday morning retreats for women. There is a program to fit every busy schedule…weekday, weekend, mornings, and evenings. For additional details, see the Spiritual Enrichment booklet. Come join us as we grow in our faith together! (PLEASE NOTE THE EVENT SCHEDULE CHANGE: The Family Life - Gospel Life Series presentations scheduled for Sunday, February 21, 2010, and Sunday, March 14, 2010, have been cancelled.) |
Why Be Registered In The Parish?
All Catholics regularly participating in the liturgy are encouraged to register. Simply attending Mass does not make one a registered member of Holy Spirit Parish. It is important that you officially register so that when you require documented information you are more easily identifiable through the parish records. Registration is necessary for Baptism, all Christian formation programs, marriage preparation and for registering at Catholic schools in the diocese.
New members may register at any time. Please fill out a registration form and mail it or return it via the collection basket on your next visit. If you are unable to print a form, you may request one by writing to parish -AT- holyspirit-tempe-az.org or calling the parish office. You will also find registration forms (with a return envelope) above the counter in the Narthex (entry) of the church.
Help us keep our records current by calling the office with the new information. We hate to have you miss anything by our mailing it to the wrong address, or not being able to reach you by phone.
