Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Becoming a Holy Communion Minister entails reverently serving the Body of Christ to the community of Holy Spirit during Mass.

Eucharistic Ministers must be members of the parish for at least one year, 16 years or older, and have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation in the Roman Catholic Church.

The volunteer commitment is approximately twice a month at the Saturday Vigil or Sunday Masses. Training requires one to two sessions for a total of about four hours, involving theological background and the basics of serving the Eucharist.
