Volunteer Opportunities
We are blessed here at Church of the Holy Spirit with many opportunities to serve and grow in our faith journey. Whether you have one or more hours to give each week or every month there is a parish ministry just for you.
Church Cleaning Society
The Church Cleaning Society is looking for a few good women and men. If you feel a calling to help keep the church clean and orderly, this may be just for you.
The group dusts, vacuums the church/chapel and sacristy, cares for the sacred vessels, and cleans the fingerprints from the glass in the church. There is nothing strenuous about this ministry. It is a group of parishioners who donate one to two hours of their time once a month.
Linen Ministry
The Linen Ministry has the responsibility of maintaining the linens used during Mass. It is a responsibility that is very flexible.
The linens are laundered and ironed once a week. They are picked up in the sacristy on Mondays and returned by Friday. Each person takes a month at a time, two to three times a year.
