Why is Youth Ministry Important for my Child?
Youth Ministry provides a place for middle and high schoolers to delve deeper into their faith, take it as their own, and deepen their living relationship with the LORD. Jesus sent His disciples out two by two (Lk 10:1 RSVCE), and youth ministry provides a place for youth to find Catholic friends to support them on their journey to becoming a saint. Youth Ministry equips youth to be strong in their Faith and lead others to Christ Jesus. Youth are a vibrant, important part of our Church in the here and now, and it is our responsibility to help them on this journey.
Do you have a 6th-8th grader or high school student who needs sacraments? Is this the right place?
Yes! At Holy Spirit, we offer a two-year program for students seeking sacraments. The only requirement is that your child attends our fun and engaging youth group. As the year goes on, we’ll reach out to you to discuss the details for preparing your child to receive the sacraments.
When does Youth Group start?
Junior High Students (6th-8th grade): Begin September 8 in the Social Hall
High School Students: Begin September 11 in the Upper Room
Be sure to register your child, as we’ll provide more information in the coming weeks!
