Young Apostles
Do you have a 6th-8th grader who needs sacraments? Is this the right place?
Yes! At Holy Spirit, we offer a two-year program for students seeking sacraments. They will receive most of their formation during our fun and engaging youth group.
What do you have for my child if they already have received baptism, confirmation & first communion?
Our youth group is meant to reach each child where they are in their faith. Each youth group evening will be formatted in a similar way:
- Social/community building (games/different activities as they arrive)
- Prayer
- Catechesis (Featured speaker, movie from FORMED, short talk, etc)
- Prayer
- Small groups, team building activities
Meetings
Youth Apostles meet Monday nights in the Social Hall from 5:30-6:30pm.
The goal for our middle schoolers is to help develop them into young apostles (An apostle (derived from Ancient Greek) literally means "one who is sent off on mission". In a world where a lot of kids don’t know what their purpose is or why they are here and why that matters – becoming a young apostle can be a key to seeing themselves as God created them, and just as importantly – what they are called to do, which starts with loving themselves so they can love others as God intended.
We will have periodic Youth Speakers, Special events and Youth Adoration/Praise & Worship that will also happen during our scheduled time. All youth group events are geared to encourage students to bring friends to a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

$80 for one child
$130 for two children
Max $180 per family (across RE programs)
